sumber : kompas.com 3 Juli 2011 Gunung Soputan di Sulawesi Utara meletus sebanyak lima kali pascapenetapan status siaga sehari yang lalu. Ketinggian asap mencapai 5 kilometer dari kawah sehingga penerbangan menuju dan dari Bandara harus mewaspadai ketinggian asap. I believe we can’t keep fighting for collective action if we don’t start it ourselves. For me, fighting for a sustainable environment begins with something small: eating proportionately. I think about how, throughout human history, the stomach has often been the beginning of all greed. How can we truly talk about controlling global consumption if we can’t even control our own desire to eat everything?
That’s why I’m committing to practicing autophagy daily, limiting my consumption of imported foods, and prioritizing buying local food directly from farmers.
